Mid holiday Season

Sighhhh.....I can breath. We got through another Christmas with happy kiddo's, I am so blessed for the family I have to share Christmas and the holidays with. If it weren't for them I don't know what I'd do.This past week has been great, very busy but great.

So I turned 26 on Sunday, on Dec 23. On Saturday my wonderful husband and kids surprised me with a beautiful purple diamond necklace and earrings, they are gorgeous. Then we went to eat at the Outback Steak House and then we went out for a parents night out with some good friends and family. It was nice there were a lot of old friends I haven't seen in a while there. So we were a little tired on Sunday (my actual birthday) so we kind of just lounged around the house and hung out with the kids.

On Christmas eve we went to my sisters soon to be house for dinner. I say soon to be house because right now it is her parent in laws house but her and her husband are buying it soon, which is super exciting since they live all the way in York ville. It'll be nice to be able to spend some more time with them.

                                                                My amazing family

That night turned out to be very long though because like last year I waited til the last minute to wrap the presents so when we got home we tried putting the kids to sleep which didn't work so much for Summer, my 4 year old. She was just to excited that she would not go to sleep for anything, we tried reading books, watching a movie, bribing her, threatening her, turning out all the lights. NOTHING would work so anyhow I was up until like 3 in the am wrapping gifts and putting them under the tree. Then she wants to wake up at 6 o'clock am to open presents. I definitely made her go back to sleep for a while longer.

                                                     Santa's work is finally done

Then when we did get up she was soooo excited. Long story short we opened lots of presents, played with toys. Spend most of the day trying to get toys out of they parent proof boxes and assembling them. Uncle Scooter (my brother in law) came over for breakfast since he had to work that night. All our family came over for dinner and to exchange gifts. It was a mad house. With our 3 little one and our niece and nephew we have 5 kids 5 and under so needless to say it was chaos, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Oh and by the way it was Jayden's 1st Xmas so that was very exciting but he really wasn't feeling well since he is teething.

                                                    Summer and Chloe

So now we are in mid holidays, in between Christmas and New years and thankfully the last couple day have been pretty chill. Well besides taking care of the little ones and of course some therapy sessions for Miss Chloe but I enjoy it. The weekend should be pretty calm also.

So I hope I can get some uninterrupted sleep tonight though between Jayden and Chloe I am up at least every hour. Jayden's has been teething, he has cut the front bottom left and it looks like the one right of it is coming any day too, so he has just been miserable. Then Chloe has been having issues breathing while asleep so her saturation's keep dropping and her pulse ox monitor is beeping continuously all night long. So I have to reposition her what feels like a million times a night. Right now she is on 2 liters of oxygen so hopefully I wont need to go up on it, otherwise we might be heading to Lutheran General Children's Hospital, where she gets most of her medical care at. Her snoring sounds like a old man right now and she is retracting a little bit more then usual.

Well I might as well try to get some ZZZzzz while I can since they are all sleeping. Oh wait I was mistaken my insomnia 4 year old daughter is still up, but at least she is quite in her bed watching a movie.

Nighty Nite <3<3 Love, Hugs and Kisses

lol.....as I was typing that last line Summer came down the stair throwing her pink teddy bear she got from her Auntie Colleen when she was born. So much for quite in her bed.

Christmas is a comin'

So Christmas is coming soon. I am excited for it to come but I am also excited for it to be over. I cant wait to see the kids reactions. Jayden probably wont understand much since he is only 6 mos old, well he will be 6 mos. old in 2 days but its very exciting that it is his first Christmas.Yeah!. Chloe will enjoy opening her gifts, even though she'll probably have more fun with the wrapping paper. Its so funny how we can spend all this money on these gifts for 1 and 2 year old but then they show no interest in the actual gift and all they want to do is play with the bows and wrapping paper or the box the toy came in. Oh man but Summer now she is super stoked and she should be since Santa Claus got her probably everything on her list. No matter how much Santa tries to keep is small he usually over does it at least a little<<so the hubby says>> (wink, wink).

Like I said though I am also excited for it to be over. I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I have been to the store in the last month. Especially since every time I get the chance to go to the store I only have an hour before I have to be somewhere else or pick up summer from preschool.

Its so amazing how much holiday spirit children bring and they don't even know it. Its so new and magical to them. Like Summer, she wakes up this morning with the hugest smile on her face because it snowed and so excitedly she looks out the window and asks if we can go make snow angels. Its great.

My love gets 5 days off of work for the holidays, which is awesome. Its nice to spend some extra time with him and to have him here to help play and entertain the kiddo's is worth a million bucks

I'm tired so until next time......

<3love and kisses

Hello and Welcome to my life :)

So this is my first blog post of hopefully many. Thanks to anyone who is taking the time to read it. I am pretty excited to be able to share some of my life with you. I have wanted to start a blog for some time now, especially so I can talk about Chloe and how special she is but I haven't had the time to sit down and start one. Even though I am always busy now too, I figured if I dont do it now I never will.

So I'll probably talk about the past, present and future. Probably mostly about my children and then some about me, my husband, other family, friends and just our life.

Feel free to leave comments or share any of your thought, storys or experiences with me because I would love to hear them.

So this is my journey through parenthood.....
